Preserving & Sharing the Mizo Language
A thoughtful, culturally-rich approach to learning one of India's most beautiful languages—built for learners everywhere.
About the Mizo Language
Mizo (also called Lushai) is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken by approximately 1 million people, primarily in the state of Mizoram in Northeast India.
Unlike many Indian languages, Mizo uses the Roman alphabet, making it uniquely accessible to English speakers. The language has a rich oral tradition and is central to Mizo culture, music, and identity.

The Story Behind This Course
This course was born from two things: a mission to preserve Mizo culture and a personal urge to learn. For years, quality Mizo learning resources have been scattered, outdated, or simply unavailable online.
We believe language is the heartbeat of culture. As the world becomes more connected, there's a growing need to preserve and share the rich heritage of Mizo traditions, songs, and stories—before they fade into memory.
This course was created to change that—to build a modern, structured, and culturally-authentic learning experience that anyone in the world can access.
Whether you're a diaspora Mizo wanting to reconnect with your roots, a linguist fascinated by Tibeto-Burman languages, or someone moving to Mizoram—this course meets you where you are.
